Holding strong with 25+ years PEOPLE FOR PETS is the longest existing non profit pet adoption organization in Tracy. We are all committed and compassionate, non-paid volunteers. We take in homeless dogs and make sure they are current on all inoculations, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. You can help support us in two ways. Donate to us through PAYPAL or support us through Amazonsmile foundation at https://smile.amazon.com Choose People for Pets as the non-profit organization you wish to support.
PEOPLE FOR PETS volunteers show our dogs every Saturday of the month (except the last) at Tracy Pet Smart from 11-2:00. We are continuously looking for families for our rescues. Our dogs happiness and care is our priority and we strive to provide a service
we would want our own pets to receive.

Samie is about 6 years old and is a Miniature Pincher mix. Samie currently resides with a German Shepherd and another dog smaller than her, but size does not matter, Sammie is the boss! Samie would rather do nothing but sit on your lap and take an occasional walk. She is a true lap warmer. Samie's personality is best described as the typical Min-Pin breed. Sammie is current on vaccines, spayed, and micro-chipped, ready to go to her FUR-ever home today.
Gus would love to go home with you. He was abandoned at a boarding facility 3 months ago. He was extremely underweight with a skin infection. Now he has gained proper weight, been neutered, is current on all inoculations and the skin infection is currently being treated. Gus is about 6 years old, super people friendly and needs to be the only pet in the family he is adopted by. Is Gus the right dog for you?
Squeaky is an adorable light cream Chihuahua mix. He is 2 years old and weighs 5.2 LBS. He is current on his vaccinations and has been neutered and micro-chipped. Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and help more homeless dogs find loving, FUR-ever homes. Your generous donation will fund our mission to take in homeless dogs, make sure they get spayed or neutered, are micro-chipped, and receive all current vaccines. All the while they will be fed, cared for and kept comfortable in all climates of weather by our foster families until their FUR-ever homes are found.
