Holding strong with 25+ years PEOPLE FOR PETS is the longest existing non profit pet adoption organization in Tracy. We are all committed and compassionate, non-paid volunteers. We take in homeless dogs and make sure they are current on all inoculations, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. You can help support us in two ways. Donate to us through PAYPAL or support us through Amazonsmile foundation at https://smile.amazon.com Choose People for Pets as the non-profit organization you wish to support.
PEOPLE FOR PETS volunteers show our dogs every Saturday of the month (except the last) at Tracy Pet Smart from 11-2:00. We are continuously looking for families for our rescues. Our dogs happiness and care is our priority and we strive to provide a service
we would want our own pets to receive.

Dogs we currnetly have for adoption
Joe is a 4 year old Lab mix. He is super sweet, loves to curl up in your lap and gives lots of kisses. He gets along well with other dogs and seems to not be very interested in cats. Joe was raised with children and he loves people of all ages. Joe is active and would love a family of his own to take him on walks and throw a ball for him. Joe is quite a gentleman, he is crate trained, current on shots, is neutered, and micro-chipped.
P-Nuckle is about as snuggley as they come. She is a Chihuahua mix approximately 5 years old and weighs about 11 pounds. All P (her nick-name) really wants to do is sit on your lap and be a snuggle bug. She is very good natured, bonds strongly with her person would be an excellent companion for someone who would take her for walks then let her snuggle up on their lap. P-Nuckle is current on inoculations, spayed and micro-chipped waiting to go home with her FUR-every family.
Patsy loves to play with other dogs but typically is shy with new people. Once Patsy comes out of her shell, she will curl up on your lap and wiggle her way into your heart keeping you warm and company while watching your favorite T.V. show. Patsy is about 2 years old, is leash trained, potty trained, crate trained, spayed, micro-chipped and current on shots.
Lilly is a tiny little pup but big on love. She only weighs 7 pounds and is approximately 4 years old. Our best guess is that Lilly is a Yorkie - Maltese mix. She's one of the best lap warmers in town. Lilly is crate trained, almost completely potty trained, current on vaccines, micro-chipped, spayed and ready to go home with you!
Samie is about 6 years old and is a Miniature Pincher mix. Samie currently resides with a German Shepherd and another dog smaller than her, but size does not matter, Sammie is the boss! Samie would rather do nothing but sit on your lap and take an occasional walk. She is a true lap warmer. Samie's personality is best described as the typical Min-Pin breed. Sammie is current on vaccines, spayed, and micro-chipped, ready to go to her FUR-ever home today.
Tugboat is a German Shepherd mix, possibly with Lab. He is 7 years old and sadly has been surrendered by his owner who is ill and can no longer care for him. Tugboat is gentle and sweet and loves to lean on you. Tugboat is current on vaccines and is neutered. He'd love a home of his own to snuggle into and hunker down for the winter.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and help more homeless dogs find loving, FUR-ever homes. Your generous donation will fund our mission to take in homeless dogs, make sure they get spayed or neutered, are micro-chipped, and receive all current vaccines. All the while they will be fed, cared for and kept comfortable in all climates of weather by our foster families until their FUR-ever homes are found.
Congratulations to these womnderful pups!
